The 1600 kVA VPI dry-type isolation transformer is a regularly produced standard model from QH-Power's core product lineup — not a new product release, but a proven configuration that QH-Power supplies to customers worldwide.
While 1600 kVA is one of the most widely specified capacity points across industrial and commercial projects, it is not the largest unit QH-Power manufactures. Higher-capacity VPI dry-type isolation transformers and fully customized
solutions are available on request.
Oil-Free Isolation with VPI Technology
Using Vacuum Pressure Impregnation (VPI) technology, the windings are sealed with high-grade insulating varnish under vacuum and pressure, delivering excellent moisture resistance, thermal stability, and dielectric strength.
As an isolation transformer, the unit provides complete galvanic separation between primary and secondary circuits. By eliminating direct electrical connections between windings, it:
